In the book " Stones " there is a conflict with the two main charters Garnet and Raphella. The conflict is in the story Garnet is staying in a trailer in a park. At night while Garnet is in bed in his trailer he gets woken up every night at 3 because he hears a woman crying in the forest calling for her husband. One night Garnet goes out and looks for where the noise is coming from and discovers that its a ghost that has been there for 150 years and the ghost is stuck doing the same thing every night witch is looking for her husband. So Garnet and Raphella try to help and find out a why to put the ghost to rest.  they end up finding out that the ghost was stoned to death in the 1800's and was buried in the floor in her cabin witch was only a 10 min walk from garnets trailer. So Garnet and Raphella dig the body up and give the body a proper grave. After that Garnet didn't hear the ghost in the forest anymore.

If you where faced with this situation what would you do. You could just leave and forget about everything or you could do your best to try and help the ghost ?  
    

In the book Stones there is one main character.His name is Garnet, Garnet is in grade 12. In elementary school Garnet was tested and his parents and teachers found out that he was gifted. Garnet is vary smart but he doesn't like school vary much, he thinks school is a waste of his time. In school Garnet doesn't have any friends and keeps to him self a lot. He never really had a girlfriend and when it comes girls he has a hard time talking to them because he lacks in self confidence. But Garnet has met a girl in one of his class's that he cant stop thinking about and when he see's her and is about to talk to her he gets all shocked up. The girls name is Raphaella. Raphaella is a transfer student that's smart, tall, has longs black hair almost touching her bum and also has a beauty mark on the left side of her neck and left cheek. Garnet is crazy about Raphaelle but has barely talked to her. For him its love at first site.
