In the book " Stones " there is a conflict with the two main charters Garnet and Raphella. The conflict is in the story Garnet is staying in a trailer in a park. At night while Garnet is in bed in his trailer he gets woken up every night at 3 because he hears a woman crying in the forest calling for her husband. One night Garnet goes out and looks for where the noise is coming from and discovers that its a ghost that has been there for 150 years and the ghost is stuck doing the same thing every night witch is looking for her husband. So Garnet and Raphella try to help and find out a why to put the ghost to rest. they end up finding out that the ghost was stoned to death in the 1800's and was buried in the floor in her cabin witch was only a 10 min walk from garnets trailer. So Garnet and Raphella dig the body up and give the body a proper grave. After that Garnet didn't hear the ghost in the forest anymore.
Question
If you where faced with this situation what would you do. You could just leave and forget about everything or you could do your best to try and help the ghost ?
First of all, if i heard this every night i would get out of there and find a new place to park the trailer. If i saw a ghost i would see if i was crazy before thinking what i saw was real. I wouldn't mess around with that stuff. I would leave and forget about it.
ReplyDeleteIf I was in that situation I would try my hardest to help out the ghost. I would do that because then I wouldn't have to hear the voice of a poor lady that was stoned looking for her husband and be stuck in purgatory. But also by finding her and helping her it would make her happy because then she would be at rest.
ReplyDeleteIf I was faced with this issue I would do exactly what Garnet and Raphella did. I believe that the reason why ghost haunt people or things is because something horrible took place and they didn't receive a proper burial. I think when this happens it causes them to stay in our world instead of going where ghost go. So therefore if what Garnet and Raphella did helped the ghost and made her voice shouting out for her husband go away than I would do exactly the same thing.
ReplyDeleteIf I was in this situation I would do whatever I could in order to make sure I could carry on with my life and not have to have a ghost problem like this. I would immediately leave the area and try to avoid the situation.

ReplyDeleteif i was in this situation and was with someone else that would encourage me to go check the noise out i would probably do the same thing and help it out and figure a way to put her to rest. but if i was alone i don't think i would go in a forest alone and try and figure out what the noise was and then find out its a ghost and help it out.
